At Brad Simon Bible Teaching Ministry, we are committed to proclaiming the timeless truth of Godβs Word and to exalting the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, Lord, and coming King. Our convictions are rooted in Scripture, and we joyfully affirm the following:
1. The Triune God
We believe in one eternal God, who exists in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler over all things, perfect in holiness, justice, love, and truth.
π Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14
2. The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God. It is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and life.
π 2 Timothy 3:16β17; 2 Peter 1:20β21
3. Humanity and Sin
We believe man was created in the image of God, but through Adamβs sin, all humanity inherited a sinful nature. Because of this, all people are separated from God and in need of salvation.
π Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12
4. Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the substitute for our sins, and rose bodily from the grave, conquering sin and death.
π Isaiah 7:14; John 1:14; 1 Corinthians 15:3β4
5. Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life come only through personal faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross.
π Ephesians 2:8β9; John 14:6; Acts 4:12
6. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer at the moment of salvation. He convicts of sin, comforts believers, empowers for holy living, and gives spiritual gifts to equip the church for ministry.
π John 16:7β8; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4β7
7. The Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers. The local church is Godβs ordained gathering for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and mission. Believers are called to serve faithfully in the church and to live in unity and love.
π Ephesians 4:11β13; Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:24β25
8. The Ordinances
We believe Christ gave two ordinances for the church:
- Baptism β by immersion, for believers, as a public testimony of faith.
- The Lordβs Supper β a memorial of Christβs sacrifice, observed until He returns.
π Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3β4; 1 Corinthians 11:23β26
9. Marriage and Family
We believe marriage is a sacred covenant instituted by God, designed to be the lifelong union of one man and one woman. The family is the foundation of society and a picture of Christβs relationship to His church.
π Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4β6; Ephesians 5:31β32
10. Sanctification and Holy Living
We believe every believer is called to live a life set apart to God, empowered by the Spirit, and guided by the Word. Holiness and obedience are the fruit of genuine faith.
π Romans 12:1β2; 1 Peter 1:15β16; Galatians 5:22β23
11. Spiritual Warfare
We believe Satan is a real adversary who opposes Godβs people, but he is a defeated foe. Believers are to resist him through the power of Christ and the armor of God.
π Ephesians 6:10β12; 1 Peter 5:8β9; James 4:7
12. Eternal Destiny
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people: the saved to eternal life with Christ in heaven, and the lost to eternal separation from God in hell.
π John 3:16β18; Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:11β15
13. The Return of Christ
We believe in the blessed hopeβthe personal, visible, and imminent return of Jesus Christ. He will gather His people to Himself and establish His eternal kingdom.
π Titus 2:13; John 14:1β3; Revelation 22:12, 20
Our Mission
Our mission is to teach the truth of Scripture faithfully, encourage believers to grow in Christ, and equip the church to shine His light in the world until He comes again.
